In the newly released James Halliday Australian Wine Companion 2009, Milhinch Wines current releases are described as "particularly impressive".
This is our first Halliday review and we were delighted to receive an overrall winery rating of 4.5 stars, which denotes:
"Excellent winery able to produce wines of high to very high quality. Knocking on the door of a five-star rating."
The 2006 Seize the Day Cabernet Sauvignon received 94 points.
This puts our Cabernet Sauvignon in Halliday's top 5 glass rating category as described in his guide:
"Outstanding. Wines of the highest quality, usually with a distinguished pedigree."
The 2006 Seize the Day Shiraz received 91 points, or 4.5 glasses:
"Highly recommended. Wines of great quality, style and character, worthy of a place in any cellar."
